How to choose temperature probe with long service life
The temperature probe, also known as the temperature sensor, is a pawn in the temperature monitoring products and plays an important role in the temperature monitoring system.
As a manufacturer of temperature probe sales, received a customer call often * a question: "do you do temperature probe?" The second sentence is: "how much is it?" If you want to have a smooth conversation, you have to answer the other person's question, but it's a question you can't answer. Everyone knows the house, is familiar with the house, and even can't do without these two words. But if someone doesn't mention the area or the size of the house, he will come and ask, "how much is the house?" I'm afraid that even the senior real estate practitioners are speechless. Therefore, if you want to use an economical and easy-to-use temperature probe, you must first know what signal the "home" temperature meter or collector of the temperature probe needs the temperature probe to input. This is just like the basis of dialogue. You must communicate with each other in language, otherwise, the result after * is only one: you can't display the temperature.
Knowing the output signal of the temperature probe, we can discuss the accuracy. The accuracy of the temperature probe needs to be reflected by the instrument, so the temperature probe only needs to meet the needs of the whole temperature monitoring system. Hx-rs series has products with an accuracy of 0.03 ℃, which is special for the laboratories of scientific research institutions. It is meaningless to use such a high-precision temperature sensor for the normal environmental temperature monitoring, but it is useless to use a bull knife to kill chickens. Therefore, the high accuracy of temperature sensor is a concept relative to the demand, and the principle is to match with the temperature acquisition system.
There are two decisive factors for the service life of the temperature probe: one is the packaging form of the product. High corrosion environment with a thin layer of stainless steel pipe, the service life is not 100% high. The second is the temperature range. All configurations of the temperature probe working at 100 ℃ for a long time are 100 ℃ configurations. It is impossible to have a long service life if it has to work at 300 ℃ every day.
Therefore, to have high accuracy and long service life of the temperature probe, it is necessary to clarify the technical requirements first. *For one-time selection project, the manufacturer of temperature sensor may be consulted to explain the use environment. The technical personnel of the manufacturer shall put forward suggestions to determine the specifications, dimensions and other parameters. Samples shall be made for testing. In the process of testing, the original parts not considered shall be supplemented and modified. Finally, the temperature probe highly matched with the product shall be used.
