Three working states of stepping motor
Stepper motor is a common type of motor, as a kind of open-loop control system, stepper motor and modern digital control technology have essential contact, so it is often used in digital control system. So when the stepper motor is working, what kinds of working states can it be divided into?
1: Static
Static state refers to the state when the rotor of stepper motor is locked instantaneously, that is, the motor control winding is filled with DC current, and the rotor is locked. When the stepping motor is in this state, the phase current of the motor winding reaches the limit, and the winding can not be replaced, so at this time, the stepping motor can emit uneven heat in the connected phase, so this working state is a serious heating state of the stepping motor.
2: Steady state
The stable synchronous state is also one of the working states of the stepper motor. The stable synchronous state occurs when the control pulse frequency is constant. At this time, the rotor of the stepper motor rotates at a constant speed, so this rotation can also be regarded as the periodic fluctuation of the synchronous speed. At present, the steady state of stepping motor can be divided into limit state and non-polar state.
3: Transition state
When the frequency of stepper motor changes from zero to start state, the rotor speed of the motor will accelerate from zero to start at the limit speed. When the control pulse is interrupted suddenly, the stepping motor will also decelerate sharply from the stable synchronous state to the parking lock. When the motor reverses, the rotor will also change from a stable synchronous turntable in one direction of rotation to another stable synchronous state in the opposite direction, so as to carry out the transition of working state.
The working state of the stepper motor is mainly the above three states. The perfect combination of these three states makes the stepper motor excellent advantage. With the cooperation of the three working states, the stepper motor can run normally, which makes it play an important role in different fields.
